The Creature

Brugmansia is a genus of flowering plants, woody trees or shrubs, with large, fragrant flowers. In English they are sometimes referred as angel's trumpets, and in Spanish as "Borracheros". They have been grown and used by indigenous cultures from Colombia south to Chile with no place harboring more varieties than Sibundoy. They are amongst the most toxic of ornamental plants, containing tropane alkaloids with high degrees of toxicity and deliriant effects.
